Over the years RLIC has developed its infrastructure with the goal of widening the experience base of our children. With this goal, we have designed unique learning spaces around the campus with specific themes which cater to child's growing curiosity and interests.
Science Park
Our Science Park consists of a wide collection of models and specimens from various fields like –

Activities & Workshop
Activities and Workshops at RLIC are aimed at developing the knowledge base through variety of methods.
These activities are designed to provide a guided exposure on various topics and issues. The activities are aimed at developing social and global awareness and to create a feeling of belongingness which helps to develop team spirit. The activites help to expand the contextual reference base of the children which is a critical factor for understanding various issues in the society.
GAP - Global Awareness Programme
Our Global Awareness Programme (or GAP) is aimed at providing a global exposure to our children. Through this programme children are made aware of various fields like science, current affairs, technology, economy, arts, military, politics, environment, etc.
GAP helps in consistently developing the child’s sense of judgement, cultural belongingness and moral and ethical values on a global scale.
Individual and Group Projects
MEGA PROJECT is an annual event of RLIC where children present such project. This event is an open event for general public.
An Eco-friendly school
RLIC is now a 'green' school with several environment friendly initiatives within our campus.
As a part of working towards becoming a green school, Gurukul- The Day School has adopted several eco-friendly projects. These include -
Use of renewable solar energy
Waste water management
Kitchen waste management
Underground water reserve refilling
Diverse plantation of trees and plants, etc.
- No-plastic zones across the campus
Renewable energy - Solar Power
RLIC has installed rooftop solar panels to utilize the renewable source of energy. RLIC solar energy plant is now fully functional with all the electrical power supplied by the solar panels installed in the premises.
Moreover, our infrastructure is designed to make maximum use of natural elements for light and temperature control and help to minimize the consumption of electricity.
These solar generation not only fulfills the school’s electricity requirement, but also gives back the excess electricity generation to MSEDL.
Waste water management
Reuse of waste water has been systematically done at RLIC campus right since the school’s inception.
Waste water is collected from wash basins, kitchen sinks and other washing areas. It is then filtered and collected in a tank. From this tank, the clean water is then passed through channels and pipes to be used for watering the plants as and when required.
Diversified plantation
Throughout the RLIC campus, we have more than 120 different varieties of plants which includes vines, creepers, grasses, herbs and trees belonging to different species.
The plantation includes medicinal plants, fruit bearing plants, flowering plants, decorative plants, culturally important plants, etc.
Rain water harvesting
As a part of water recycling and water conservation initiative of RLIC, the bore-well at school campus is refilled using rain water harvesting system.
The rain water is collected and passed through various filters to remove the impurities. It is then passed into the bore-well which can be reused as and when required.
